the following is a rant about things that i think are stupid, namely in
the public school system.. just a little warning.. read on if you're
interested.. if not you might as well skip it..
moving on.. man it has occurred to me that there are lots.. and i mean lots
of stupid people out there. and like.. so many of them can say stupid
stuff and not even flinch.. i mean.. obviously stupid things.. like the
superintendent of a school system in the state with the lowest SAT
scores (i forget which state.. i think north carolina) was interviewed
on a program for 20/20 about how bad the school system was, and she
said something along the lines of "i dont think we're doing badly.
we've improved over the past few years".. ok well.. while that may be
true.. its really not much of an accomplishment to improve on an
average score in the 900s on the SATs.. especially if its not enough to
pull you up from the lowest ranking spot in the nation. idiots. idiots.
idiots. another thing i found out from that news report was how stupid
the teachers' union is. dont get me wrong, there are a whole lot of
dedicated, smart teachers. im not saying anything bad about them.. but
i mean.. the teachers in the teachers union lobby for things like fixed
pay. why would you do that? that means that no matter how good you are,
you cant get pay bonuses. but that also means no matter how badly you
teach, they cant lower your pay either.. so think about it.. any
organization that lobbies for something like that.. doesnt that show
that the majority of them dont care, dont show dedication, and arent
very good teachers and are just afraid that their pay will decrease to
reflect that? they also say "well we just want the standard 6 hour work
day that any employee in the private sector gets". who the hell do you
know that actually gets the luxury of only working 6 hours a day??
seriously.. anyone who plans on being a politician.. please do the
whole country a favor and take a look at the public school system..
theres so
much more thats stupid about it that im not even gonna bother going into..
..ok. i'm done with that for now i guess.. sorry bout that.. theres
just.. unbelievably stupid people in the world.. and its kind of
disappointing.. 
haha i think everyone still thinks i dont do xanga anymore and thus nobody reads it anyways.. which i guess is good? lol
